Invisalign is orthodontic treatment with clear, removable aligners made to fit your teeth: most people won’t notice you’re wearing them. The iTero is an intraoral scanner: it captures your teeth in 3D in a few minutes, with no putty.
That scan is used to plan your treatment in ClinCheck. On screen you see how your teeth will move and how your smile would look at the end, so you decide with it in front of you.

Will my teeth move again?
When you finish, you wear custom-made Vivera retainers to protect the result. We explain how long to wear them and how often to replace them.
What if a tooth doesn't end up where the plan said?
That's what refinements are for: we scan again and make new aligners to adjust whatever is left. At your consultation we explain how they work in your case.
Can you treat me in English?
Yes. Dr. Lorenny and Dr. Roberto Ovando see patients in Spanish and in English.
Will people notice?
Very little. The aligners are clear and fit snugly against your teeth. In most conversations, nobody notices.
What if I am not a candidate?
You find out at the consultation. Invisalign works in many cases that used to be only for braces, but not in all of them. If yours isn't right for aligners, we tell you and explain which option does work for you.
How long does treatment take?
It depends on how much has to move. Some of our patients finished in 6 months and others took 2 years. At the consultation we give you an estimated time for your case.
Does it hurt?
With each new aligner you feel pressure for a day or two. That means it's working. There are no wires or brackets to rub your mouth.
How much does Invisalign cost in Cancun?
From MXN 20,000. The total depends on how many teeth need to move, how long treatment takes and which type of Invisalign you need. At the consultation, which costs MXN 1,000, we give you the exact cost in writing before you decide. You can pay in up to 12 interest-free monthly payments with all banks, or with financing.
What does the consultation include?
An exam with the orthodontist, a 3D scan with iTero, a simulation of your smile and your plan with the cost. It costs MXN 1,000.
Can I eat whatever I want?
Yes. You take the aligners out to eat, and you brush your teeth before putting them back in.
Is there Invisalign for kids?
Yes. Invisalign First is designed for children who are still growing. At the consultation we tell you whether it's the right time for your child.
I live outside Cancun, or I am here on vacation. Can I still do it?
Yes. With Invisalign, a good part of the follow-up can be done remotely. Message us and we'll work out how often you would need to come in, depending on your case.
